 tion runs Friday 4 December – Sunday 13 December 2015\nFree\n\nAll About
  Us was a joint project between Tate Liverpool and Alder Hey Children’s 
 Hospital that engaged children\, young people\, teachers and hospital staf
 f in exploring archival materials from Tate and Liverpool Medical Institut
 ion archives.\n\nThe Project ran for eight months\, during which time Harr
 iet Hall (Lead Artist) and Michaela Swan (Trainee Project Manager)\, worke
 d with local schools and communities to create online learning resource. H
 ospital staff\, teachers\, children and young people\, took the theme of T
 ransition and related it to the heritage of Alder Hey Children’s Hospita
 l\, artistic practice\, and everyday life.\n\nAll About Us is part of Arch
 ives &amp\; Access\, a national programme of digital access\, learning\, a
 nd participation with archives and heritage\, led by Tate and supported by
  the Heritage Lottery Fund. Archives &amp\; Access will make 52\,000 items
  from Tate’s archives fully accessible online and invite participation a
 nd shared learning through a new interactive Albums feature on the Tate we
 bsite\, which was launched in winter 2014.\n\nThe Albums feature allows pe
 ople to group\, tag\, annotate and share their own collections of artworks
  and archive items. Online visitors will also be able to access a series o
 f resources\, such as films and study guides related to the digitised arch
 ive collections. These archive materials and digital tools will be used as
  the basis for partnership learning projects in the five different areas o
 f the UK\, between 2013-2017\, of which All About Us is the second partner
 .\n\nWork on display in the exhibition was produced during the All About U
 s project by children and young people from:\nAlder Hey Children’s Hospi
 tal\; Broadgreen International School\; Sandfield Park School\; Knotty Ash
  Primary School and FRESH.\n\nAlongside Tate Liverpool and Alder Hey Child
 ren’s Hospital\, the programme involves the Josef Herman Art Foundation 
 Cymru\, Ystradgynlais\; Tate Britain\, London: The Laing Art Gallery (Tyne
  and Wear Archives &amp\; Museums) Newcastle\; and Turner Contemporary\, M
 argate.
