SUMMARY:Tate Liverpool: Tate Exchange: Frequently Asked Questions
DESCRIPTION:FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS\n22–28 JANUARY 2018 AT 10.00–16.
50\n\nFrequently Asked Questions was first presented in 2014 as part of As
sembly\, a larger body of work by Anthony Luvera made with over 50 homeles
s people living in Brighton and Hove. Seeking a way to present research ab
out support and services available to homeless people\, Luvera struck up a
collaboration with a participant called Gerald Mclaverty.\n\nThis involve
d sending email correspondence to council representatives in over 50 citie
s and towns across the UK\, written from Mclaverty’s experience of homel
essness\, requesting information about services provided in each locality.
Throughout 2017 Luvera and Mclaverty undertook a new round of enquires to
local authorities to form part of State of the Nation.\n\nFrequently Ask
ed Questions invites audiences to contemplate the information and range of
responses\, and how it provides a picture of how services both help and h
inder people\, and gives an insight into the challenges and realities face
d by the most marginalised individuals in society as they attempt to acces
 s systems of care.
