 ephine Wood in a conversation about their practices and the impact of time
  and space\nBOOK HERE\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFiona Stirling is an artist and m
 other. Since beginning her PhD in 2019\, she has been researching into the
  impact of time and space on the paintings of mid-life women and non-binar
 y artists.\n\nCommissioned by St Helens Borough Library Service's Cultural
  Hubs programme in 2020\, Fiona has been by making\, reading and writing a
 round the themes of “painting ad hoc” and “inbetweener painting”. 
 These terms describe the process of painting in between other jobs or resp
 onsibilities.\n\nIn this conversation\, Fiona has invited three other mid-
 life artists who work predominantly in painting - Amy Russell\, Blinky Bel
 las &amp\; Josephine Wood to talk with her about their work\, and to refle
 ct on the ways in which time\, space influence their practices.\n\nThis ev
 ent is presented in partnership with Liverpool Independents Biennial\n\n\n
