DESCRIPTION:BOOK HERE (Donation)\n\nArtist Paul Gatenby leads us in an intr
 oductory workshop where we will Draw the Landscape of Growing Sudley\n\nCo
 me and join us for some drawing in the beautiful space around Sudley House
 . Paul will demonstrate drawing and composition which you can then try out
  in the actual landscape.\n\nYou’ll learn about perspective\, the ‘rul
 e of thirds’ and mark making.\n\nThe workshop is suitable for beginners.
 \n\nYou’ll need a sketchbook\, (good quality with a paper weight of 150 
 gsm)\, pencils\, a sharpener and an eraser. An optional extra is a fold up
  stool.\n\nA4 clipboards will be provided.\n\nAnd of course\, plenty of su
 n lotion for the glorious weather!\n\nPaul has taught art since 1991 and h
 as taught in the community\, in galleries such as the Tate and for a numbe
 r of years in Liverpool Community College. (now called City of Liverpool C
 ollege)\n\nHe regularly exhibits art around Merseyside and Edinburgh.\n\nI
 n 2016\, along with friend and colleague\, Tony (TOC) O’Connell\, he fou
 nded Liverpool Independent Art School which was housed on Rose Lane until 
 lockdown. They continue to run workshops in painting drawing and printmaki
 ng both ‘live’ (within covid guidelines) and online via their Patreon

 uidance on covid\, with measures in place to avoid spread. We are outdoors
