SUMMARY:Staacks: Staacks:“Wirral Coastline” by Christine Holme
DESCRIPTION:“Wirral Coastline” by Christine Holme\n\nWalking the Wirral
shoreline throughout the year in all weathers\, inspires my work. I love
the changing light\, big skies and the different moods of the sea.\n\nI ha
ve used gouache on rough\, recycled watercolour paper for this latest seri
es of paintings. The lively texture lends itself well to expressive marks
and I really enjoy experimenting with colour combinations.\n\nI will often
work on several images at a time\, aiming to keep my paintings energised.
I paint quickly\, from photos\, sketches and memory\, returning often to
 add more layers.
