DESCRIPTION:At the Waters Edge\, by Dave Goodwin\, a Manchester based artis
 t\n\nOpen evening on Friday 2 October 2015\, 19.30 - 21.30.  This is an 
 ideal chance to look at the work and chat to the artist. - All welcome!\n
 \nExhibition starts Thursday 1 October 2015 and will continue throughout 
 the month\n\n"Painting\, for me\, is a personal expression of my passion 
 for nature and my experience of the world around me. I hope my paintings 
 convey the inspiration I take from being out in the elements\, but also l
 eave something for  viewers to discover for themselves.\n\nIt excites me
  to consider the fact that my paintings now grace walls all around the wo
 rld\, from New York to Sydney\, and that the BBC and ITV have regularly u
 sed my work in their sets.\n\nI am very pleased that Kara and Derek have a
 sked me back to Staacks. This exhibition has been inspired by a return vi
 sit to the Wirral this year and my first visit to Hilbre Island. Setting 
 out in heavy rain\, but arriving on the main island in glorious sunshine 
 provided some of those moments which ignite the subconscious.\n\nI hope t
 hat the work will give you pleasure and recall some of those moments for
