DESCRIPTION:“Figures in Abstract” by Peter Macaulay\nOpen evening Frida
 y 30th September 2016 - from 7.30-9.30pm - All Welcome.\n\nExhibition will
run from 1st October - 29th October 2016\n\nThis exhibition shows the art

for him\, been a lifelong inspiration – The Human Figure. The figures a
re treated at all times to a degree of abstraction\, expressive\, yet with
a solid geometry.\nDrawing from various sources and influences\, the wor

ng. This is coupled with the playful titles\, namely ancient Greek\, whic
h add to the depth that lies beyond the apparently obvious.\n\nPeter spen
t 25 years working in advertising and publishing. He helped develop busin
ess in Manchester and London: working on a variety of photographic and de
sign assignments in the UK\, Europe and America.\n\nCreative Director for
a number of companies\, in 2000 he was able to give up working as Creativ
e Head of Littlewoods to concentrate on creating his own images.\n\nHe ha
s exhibited widely across the UK\, including the Walker Art Gallery\, Live
rpool\, plus galleries in London and St Ives. His work hangs in several p
rivate collections in both the UK and Europe. Winner of the Laird Memoria
l Prize and the Charles Oliver Award for painting\, in 2012 he was invite
d to judge the annual exhibition of The National Acrylic Painter’s Asso
 ciation.\n\nStaacks\, 83 Banks Road\, West Kirby\, Wirral\, CH48 0RA. Tel:
