DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nStep into St Brigid’s Arms\, an immersive exhibition ex
 ploring the experiences of women of Irish heritage in the North of England
 \, from Saturday 3 October 2026 to Saturday 17 April 2027.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
 Set within a fictional Irish pub and recreated family home\, the exhibitio
 n brings together oral histories\, visual art\, music\, dance and film to 
 share powerful stories of identity\, migration\, heritage and belonging.\n
 \nThe exhibition has been co-created by artist and art psychotherapist Lyd
 ia O’Hara and Rosarie Walsh of Emerald LENS\, a female-led Community In
 terest Company\, dedicated to uncovering and sharing the untold stories of
  underrepresented communities across the north of England.\n\nDeveloped th
 rough a programme of creative workshops with women from Irish communities 
 in Liverpool\, Manchester and Leeds\, St Brigid’s Arms celebrates voices
  that are too often absent from the historical record.\n\nSt Brigid’s Ar
 ms is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Universit
 y of Liverpool’s Institute of Irish Studies\, with contributions from a 
 network of community and cultural partners including Liverpool Irish Fest
 ival\, Stretford Public Hall\, HEART Headingley\, Irish Community Care 
 Manchester &amp\; Liverpool\, Leeds Irish Health &amp\; Homes\, Leeds Ir
 ish Arts Foundation and the Consulate General of Ireland in Manchester.\
