 n\n\n\n\nWarn Them of the Danger is a theatrical\, visceral collage explor
 ing the boundaries of violence and belief and indeed theatre itself based 
 upon the 1957 story of ‘alien contactee’ James Cooke\, from Runcorn\, 
 Cheshire.  \n\nWritten by Claire Monica Burgess and Raymond Waring\, wit
 h music by Peter Cattermoul. \n\nPerformed by Raymond Waring \n\nDrawing
  from the lives\, manifestos and works of James Cooke\, Sankichi Toga\, Fl
 ying Saucer Review\, Jack the Ripper\, C.A. Conrad\, Yoko Ono\, Kathy Chan
 g(e)\, and Daniel J. Clay.  \n\nOn 7th September 1957\, James Cooke\, a
  furniture salesman\, claimed to have been taken from Runcorn\, Cheshire b
 y aliens to a planet named Zomdic in a distant galaxy. On Zomdic he is giv
 en a stark message for the human race – ‘Warn them of the danger’.
   \n\nOn his ‘return’ to Earth\, Cooke founded ‘The Church of Aqu
 arius’ in Runcorn\, dedicated to warning the human race of the danger of
  nuclear weapons and the destruction of the planet’s ecology.  \n\nFi
 rst performed at the Horse Hospital\, London in 2019.  \n\nRaymond Warin
 g is an actor\, writer and director\, best known to audiences for his wor
 k in the films ’24 Hour Party People’ and ’28 Weeks Later’. In add
 ition to this he played Hillsborough survivor Steve Hart in the award winn
 ing ‘Anne’ for ITV.  \n\nClaire Monica Burgess is a poet\, writer a
 nd translator living and working in Norwich after a long adult love affair
  with Paris and Berlin. Her work is inspired by and spans ancient mysterie
 s\, astrology and the natural world.\n\nPeter Cattermoul is a musician an
 d composer\, and member of indie pop band Teleman.  \n\nMonday 20th Ma
