 ay:\n\nInternational Slavery Museum\n22 August\n1-4pm\nJoin us for a day o
 f craft workshops\, performances\, and demonstrations to commemorate Slave
 ry Remembrance Day.\nDrop in\, no booking required\n\n1-4pm - Don’t miss
  Sidiki Dembele’s captivating performances on the djembe drum and a harp
  from West Africa called a kamelen n’goni.\n\n1-4pm - Look out for our f
 ace painter throughout the afternoon creating fantastic designs inspired b
 y African blooms and animals.\n\n1-4pm - Change the world with your own tw
 o hands! Help us create a collaborative artwork and add your own hopes and
  wishes for the future.\n\n1-4pm - Join artists from the Paper Moon print 
 studio to get hands on and have a go at screen printing an array of West A
 frican adinkra symbols. You can add to our big print mural and also make a

 One\n23 August\, 12 noon\nRemember ancestors who\, deprived of their liber
 ty\, enabled the port of Liverpool to thrive. Meet at the bandstand on Chu
 rch Street.\n\nSlavery Remembrance Day Libation Ceremony\nWaterfront\n23 A
 ugust\, 1pm\nA libation is an ancient spiritual ceremony. Join us to remem
 ber ancestors of African and Caribbean heritage. The ceremony will be perf
 ormed by Chief Angus Chukuemeka accompanied by the River\n\nPoets Against 
 Apartheid – The Legacy of Gil Scott-Heron\nMartin Luther King Jr buildin
