 ickets-1021562489907?aff=oddtdtcreator\nA feature length film\, My Truth a
nd Yours is a poetic visual odyssey encapsulating individual experiences o
 f a community impacted by suicide\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Acknowledging the
truth\n\nI meet my core.\n\nWhose truth?\n\nMine”\n\nMy Truth and Yours
is the fifth in The Suicide Chronicle series\, a project led by artist M
ark Storor which aims to develop a collective\, creative language to share
the infinitely complex experience of suicide. This film was made with 22
residents of Tallaght\, Dublin\, many of whom connected through NINA For L
 ife\, a suicide awareness support group.\n\nMothers\, sisters\, friends\,
 fathers\, uncles\, neighbours\, daughters and sons\, impacted by suicide o
ffer us a vivid view into their truths and give space for the truths of ot
hers. These may not always sit comfortably alongside one another but they
are undeniable in their honesty.\n\nA poetic visual journey without a clea
 r beginning\, middle\, or end\, it captures the personal experiences of a
community\, departing from over-simplified explanations to instead show te
nder\, intimate\, and sometimes deeply private moments.\n\nWe are invited
to keep vigil with those on the screen\, and to share in the experience wi
th one another as an audience. Together we witness a series of actions tha
t give voice to feelings and experiences often unseen or unheard. The film
offers us a portal into another place\, giving us a different sense of ti
me and space for contemplation and reflection.\n\nAbout the artist\n\nMark
