Starting its life as an internet-based project to investigate new methods of education through the Youtube Tutorial back in 2011\, FoodSketz has since been re-established as FoodSketz IRL\, a so cially-engaged entity focusing on the use of food as a facilitator of shar ed conversation and experience\, continuing the re-evaluation of education . Cat and Alison want to make lasting friendships through food\, conversat ion and art\, and use food as a tool to subvert institutionalised forms of education to replace them with peer-to-peer formats. At the moment they a re looking into socially-engaged objects. Each year they re-evaluate the F oodSketz manifesto – check out the 2017 version on their website at www. foodsketz.com.\n\nLeanne Cook\nLeanne Cook is a florist and researcher bas ed in Manchester. She came to floristry through chance\, luck and a serend ipitous turn of events which landed her in Manchester a year ago. Having c ompleted her BA in Psychology and Philosophy in Liverpool in 2014\, she be gan working in mental health in Sri Lanka and later in her hometown of Bri stol. Frustrated with the system of care in an environment devoid of chang e and connection to the outside world\, she moved back north to begin a Ma sters in Clinical and Health Psychology in 2016. Alongside this she works as a florist in an independent florist in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Leanne is keen to nurture the graceful relationship between floristry and mental health in an ongoing exploration of how flowers and plants nourish \, care for and soften the mind.\n\nZarina Muhammad\nZarina Muhammad is an artist and writer (1/2 of The White Pube) tried curating once n it made h er cry (happy tears only).
