 rpool\, retracing a journey made by the artists granddad\, who ran away fr
 om home aged 16.\n\nElizabeth Jardine makes paintings\, prints\, artist bo
 oks and videos. Her work provides a meditative space where viewers can be 
 drawn into their own journey.\n\nElizabeth is interested in the ways we co
 nnect to our environment\; how we belong. She emphasizes the importance of
  having a physical experience of place in an increasingly dislocated world
 \, and undertakes long walks and expeditions\, immersing herself in a para
 doxical activity of being there\, while passing through.\n\nThe production
  of this work was supported by a Time and Space residency at Metal. The vi
 deo was shortlisted for the Neo:Art Prize\, 2015.
