Hidden Gems is coming!
This July, the streets of Liverpool will be adorned with Hidden Gems: a free newspaper produced by a group of artists, writers and graphic designers who want you to hear the stories of Liverpool’s independent and artist-led art scene.
This project was made possible through a crowd funding campaign which received an incredible response, and with sponsorship from seven fantastic independent local businesses: The Baltic Social, Cow and Co., Cuthbert’s Bakehouse, Free State Kitchen, Rennies Arts and Crafts, R. Jackson and Sons, and The Pen Factory. The Hidden Gems team would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the project.
There will be a launch party for Hidden Gems on Tuesday 19th July from 7pm at the Pen Factory, 13 Hope St, Liverpool, L1 9BQ. It is open to all, no invitation needed and you will be able to meet the Hidden Gems team, enjoy a celebratory drink and, most importantly, get your hands on a copy of the newspaper!
Hidden Gems will be distributed to a multitude of venues across Liverpool, so keep your eyes peeled and make sure you pick one up.
