If you are a begin ner\, the course will lead you through the basic principles of drawing and allow you to discover different ways of working\, by instruction and expe rimentation. If you’ve already had experience of drawing\, the exercises will ask you to reconsider the basics and challenge you to try to work in different ways.\n\nEach week the session will focus on a different drawin g principle or idea for you to consider\, giving you both direction and fr eedom to experiment. Throughout the course you will be encouraged to try u sing different materials and techniques to discover and develop your own s tyle. You will explore and learn the basics of drawing such as line\, form \, tone and composition while being introduced to fun techniques.\n\n\nTut or: Eimear Kavanagh\nBorn in Ireland in 1973\, Eimear studied BA Hons in T extiles and Surface Pattern Design at Bretton Hall University of Leeds\, g raduating in 1999. Based in Liverpool\, Eimear works as a mixed media arti st with a varied wealth of experience in the arts. Her body of work and pr evious commissions have taken her to India\, Australia and back to Ireland . She has worked within fashion\, public street art\, textiles\, illustrat ion\, album cover design\; stage set design\, tattoo art\, schools educati on &\; community workshops.
