DESCRIPTION:Join Open Eye and RIBA North West for an architectural tour of 
 Liverpool!\nLomography cameras and 1 roll of film provided. Feel free to b
 ring your own equipment.\n\nLiverpool established its international reputa
 tion as the pre-eminent Gateway for shipping\, trade and the movement of p
 eople leaving one continent to find new lives in another. The city that wa
 s created to service this exchange is rich in its buildings\, streets and 
 public spaces. Many of these have changed use since they were originally b
 uilt helping to create the vibrant modern Liverpool that exists today. The
  tour puts a spotlight on key buildings and public spaces\, using them to 
 tell the story of Liverpool’s past\, present and future.\n\nLomography s
 tarted out as a spontaneous artistic approach to photography in the Vienna
  underground scene. On the one hand\, analogue photography is traditional\
 ; it’s got an amazing history which stretches back a couple of hundred y
 ears. But film photography also opens up all kinds of real-time experiment
 al possibilities\; you can use techniques such as multiple exposures\, spr
 ocket-hole photography and cross-processing to get artistic and beautiful 
 effects. You can’t see your photos until they’ve been developed but th
 at’s part of the fun\; analogue photography encourages you to embrace ea
 ch moment and get creative!\n\nPlease arrive 10 minutes early to collect y
 our Lomography camera. Please also be aware the walking tour is 2 hours lo
 ng and we will take in as many buildings as possible! You may wish to purc
