POETRY BOOKMAKING WORKSHOP / SESSION 1

6 MARCH 2017

Monday 6 March / 2pm-3.30pm / Free / Booking Required

Inspired by some of the photographs in the exhibition, ‘North: Identity, Photography, Fashion’, work with artist and poet Maria Isakova Bennett to create a unique lotus book containing a new poem which you will draft during the first session.

Two linked workshops will mean that during the second session you will complete your final draft of your poem and bind it in the covers you will make in the workshop.

Sessions will run:

Mon 6th March, 2pm-3.30pm

Mon 13th March, 2pm-3.30pm

The event is suitable for both beginners and more experienced writers, and for poets who are interested in creating their own books to contain their work.

The event is free, however booking is required. Reserve your place at Open Eye Gallery; call +44 (0)151 236 6768 or email info@openeye.org.uk
