SUMMARY:Open Eye Gallery: Open Eye Gallery: Open Source in Conversation: Na
 than Cutler
DESCRIPTION:Open Source in Conversation: Nathan Cutler\n\nBook here\n\nNath
an Cutler is our Open Source #11 artist with his series\, Gents. Our Ope
n Source in Conversation series opens up a laid-back discussion between ea
rly-career photographers and the audience with refreshments available thro
 ughout.\n\nHow do we define masculinity\, through clothes\, objects\, area
s\, and roles? Through personal experience and a soft lens\, Nathan Cutler
’s series looks at commonalities that exist in traditionally male-domina
ted spaces and the people that inhabit them.\n\nGents recognises and ques
tions traditional notions of how men are portrayed by\, and to\, each othe
r.\n\nhttps://nathancutler.co.uk/\n\nOpen Source is part of our responsive
programme\, offering our on and offline resources for others to use. Ther
e is no theme and no limit to number of submissions\, but we encourage pro
jects that engage with themes explored in our exhibitions. The aim of the
platform is to make lesser-known artists more visible.
