SUMMARY:Open Eye Gallery: Open Eye Gallery: Open Source in Conversation: Ar
 abelle Zhuang
DESCRIPTION:Open Source in Conversation: Arabelle Zhuang\n\nFree\, booking
required\n\nArabelle Zhuang will be talking through her practice with a fo
cus on her series Reverie\, currently showing for Open Source 09.\n\nUsin
g a group of her close friends as models\, Arabelle Zhuang’s series Rev
erie draws on personal experiences to describe challenges with self-ident
ity and the developing relationships women form throughout significant cha
pters in their lives. Through acute styling\, Zhuang’s magazine-style im
ages form a nostalgic and whimsical view of the support networks that defi
ne us.\n\nwww.arabellezhuang.com\n\nArabelle Zhuang is showing work for Op
en Source 09 — part of our responsive programme\, offering our on and of
fline resources for others to use. There is no theme and no limit to numbe
r of submissions\, but we encourage projects that engage with themes explo
red in our exhibitions. The aim of the platform is to make lesser-known ar
tists more visible.\n\nRefreshments will be available throughout.\n\nAll w
 elcome\, always.
