 : The Environment
DESCRIPTION:NATIONAL POETRY DAY CELEBRATION: THE ENVIRONMENT\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\
 nTHURS 6 OCT / 11AM–4PM / OPEN EYE GALLERY\n\nREGISTER HERE\n\n(FREE TO
DROP IN THROUGHOUT THE DAY)\n\n\nOpen Eye Gallery is actively rethinking w

oems or your favourite poem celebrating or reflecting on what ‘The Envir
onment’ means to you.\n\nWe’d love to see you on 6 October 2022 – to
hear you read and share poetry on environmental and ecological themes. Th
is event is a Liverpool celebration of National Poetry Day and Liverpool Y
ear of the Spoken Word.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nDo you write poems that reflect on w
hat it means to live an urban life in a time of climate crisis?\n\nOr you
might reflect on the beauty and fragility of nature.\n\nOr have a passion
for a particular poem or poet’s work – and want to share this with oth
ers in our beautiful gallery.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWe will also celebrate the day
with a digital display of photographs from our socially engaged programme
of work with communities.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPlease encourage your family and
friends to come along too as a support and to hear you read.\n\nTo book a
