 e bombarded with technology\, it’s good to try something different. Dig
 ital Detox is a one day workshop that will give you a grounding in analog
 ue photography. Professional photographer Libby Nightingale will begin wi
 th an overview and history of wider traditional methods\, film types and p
 rocessing before giving you a chance to get hands-on and create your own c
 yanotypes and salt prints.\n\nWho is it for?\nThis workshop is for any pho
 tographer who would like a break from digital and would like some informat
 ion about and hands-on experience of traditional printing methods.\n\nWork
 shop Contents\nIn the morning camera obscura\, pinhole photography\, film 
 types and sizes are covered in a mixture of introductory talks and demonst
 rations from Libby. In the afternoon this is followed by practical exerci
 ses in alternative film developing to include both cyanotypes and salt pri
 nts.\n\nLibby Nightingale \nLibby Nightingale is an Associate Member of
  the Royal Photographic Society and has a BA (Hons) Photography (1st class
 ). She is responsible for the running of Chromasia Training Limited\, for
  which she won the Business Start-up category of the 2009 North West Women
  in Business Awards\, and was a finalist in the Outstanding Women in Busin
 ess category of the 2008 ABF Tiger Awards.\n\nHer personal photographic pr
 actice is a continuing body of work that challenges both contemporary and 
 historical constructs of childhood\, and the way children\, particularly g
 irls\, are portrayed in art. She has exhibited in Manchester and London an
