SUMMARY:Open Eye Gallery: Open Eye Gallery: Close Attention
DESCRIPTION:CLOSE ATTENTION\n11 JULY - 21 JULY 2019\n\n\n\n\nLaunch Night:
11th July\, 5-8PM\n\nDegree show: Students of Hugh Baird University Centre
BA (Hons) Top Up in Digital Imaging and Photography.\n\nEach year\, Open
Eye Gallery works with photography students from Hugh Baird University Cen
tre\, giving guidance and feedback on their projects as they unfold. Here
we present our annual exhibition of the students’ final work.\n\nThe pro
jects on show are varied\, each using photography to open up a different s
pace for reflection: on cultures\, personal experiences and meaningful pla
ces. Although no brief was set\, one common idea running through all the w
ork is the desire to use photography to become closer — to become famili
ar with ourselves\, new situations\, others and ways of thinking.\n\nBoth
the foundation degree and the BA (Hons) Top Up in Digital Imaging and Phot
ography\, validated by the University of Central Lancashire\, are designed
for those wanting to develop advanced practice and a clear understanding
of how imagery can be utilised to communicate and express their vision or
 interpretation of the world.\n\nFor more information\, visit:\n\nwww.hughb
