 g at 2pm and finishing at approximately at 3.30.\n\nWe are going to visit 
 one of LOOK/17 exhibitions in the Open Eye Gallery\, 19 Mann Island\, L3 1
 BP. This is CULTURE SHIFTS: GLOBAL which features photographs from Hong K

 /\n\nWe are very pleased to announce that Harjeet Kaur from LOOK/17 has ar
 ranged for the curator of the exhibition Thomas Dukes to join us in our di
 scussions.\n\nHe has said this about the exhibition -\n\n"For the exhibiti
 on\, Culture Shifts: Global I've really enjoyed working with international
  artists making work in Liverpool - this exchange of ideas through photogr
 aphy is an exhilarating area.\n\nAs curator of the Open Eye Gallery\, I su
 pport people who want to use photography to tell stories. I help the organ
 isation achieve our vision of photography being for everyone\, and for pho
 tography to be meaningful\, informing our lives and inspiring positive fut
 ures.\nI enjoy photography that is a little off the beaten path\, where so
 meone has managed to get under the surface of an idea or subject."\n\nPlea
 se meet in the foyer of the Open Eye &amp\; afterwards for those intereste
 d we will be going for a coffee in a local cafe.\n\n(If you were given a b
 adge at April's meeting please try &amp\; remember to bring it along with 
 you.)\n\nYou may also be interested in this event. On Tuesday 11th April 
 there is a launch of an exhibition in New Brighton where at least 2 of our
  members have work on display. This will be in the windows of the Marino L
 ounge on Marine Point which is the thoroughfare near Morrisons. The mayor 
 will open the exhibition at 2pm.\n\nThe exhibition will be on for about 4 
 weeks.\n\nEveryone connected with Art Club will be welcome at the launch.
