This project carries out that vision\, includ ing all kinds of women from all kinds of backgrounds. It is a subtle but v ery true statement of equality.”\n“The focus in politics has rightly b een on getting a critical mass of women involved. But it is the same issue in many sectors\, including art itself. The works will show that women ca n and ought to be portrayed in all their diversity. There is no one way to be a woman artist\, to be a woman politician\, to be a woman.”\n\n\n209 Women is a project in partnership with The Royal Photographic Society\,  Liverpool City Council and The Sorority.\n209 Women is sponsored by  Aston Martin and Power of Women series\, and supported by Women’s V ote Centenary Fund and Montessori St. Nicholas.\n\n\nImages:\n\nYvette Co oper\, MP for Normanton\, Pontefract and Castleford\, by Hannah Starkey ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://www.artinliverpool.com/wp-content/upload s/2018/12/Yvette-Cooper-MP-for-Normanton-Pontefract-and-Castleford-by-Hann ah-Starkey.jpg LOCATION:Open Eye Gallery\, Mann Island\, Liverpool Waterfront\, Liverpool\ , L3 1BP\, Liverpool\, United Kingdom GEO:53.40423;-2.994412 X-APPLE-STRUCTURED-LOCATION;VALUE=URI;X-ADDRESS=Mann Island\, Liverpool Wat erfront\, Liverpool\, L3 1BP\, Liverpool\, United Kingdom;X-APPLE-RADIUS=1 00;X-TITLE=Open Eye Gallery:geo:53.40423,-2.994412 END:VEVENT BEGIN:VTIMEZONE TZID:Europe/London X-LIC-LOCATION:Europe/London BEGIN:STANDARD DTSTART:20181028T010000 TZOFFSETFROM:+0100 TZOFFSETTO:+0000 TZNAME:GMT END:STANDARD BEGIN:DAYLIGHT DTSTART:20190331T020000 TZOFFSETFROM:+0000 TZOFFSETTO:+0100 TZNAME:BST END:DAYLIGHT END:VTIMEZONE END:VCALENDAR
