DESCRIPTION:NOWHERE brings together dot-art Artist Members Hilary Dron\,
  Nathan Pendlebury and Mikki Gleave in an exhibition exploring landsca
 pes of nowhere in particular.\n\nThe works in NOWHERE celebrate gesture\
 , texture\, colour and materiality. Drawing on fragments of memory\, trace
 s of lived experience and entirely imagined terrains\, each artist constru
 cts landscapes that exist somewhere between recognition and invention.\n\n
 Although each artist works with distinct materials and methods\, they shar
 e a process of continual making and unmaking. Surfaces are built\, disrupt
 ed and reworked through layering\, scratching back\, erasure and reconstru
 ction until something unexpected emerges. Familiar environments dissolve i
 nto abstract spaces that feel both recognisable and impossible to locate.\
 n\nWhether drawn to abstraction\, landscape or the physical language of ma
 terials and mark-making\, NOWHERE invites visitors to slow down\, look c
 losely and discover places that exist beyond geography.\n\nHilary Dron cr
 eates atmospheric works inspired by remembered landscapes\, from the woods
  of Liverpool to the mountains of Taiwan and the coastlines of Ireland. Wo
 rking in oil and cold wax\, she builds richly layered surfaces by scraping
 \, dissolving and revealing previous marks\, creating quiet\, contemplativ
 e works that evoke the essence of place rather than its literal appearance
 .\n\nNathan Pendlebury occupies the space between abstraction and represe
 ntation. His intuitive process allows each work to evolve organically thro
 ugh successive layers\, with colour and form gradually suggesting landscap
 es and associations without ever fully defining them. The resulting works 
 feel simultaneously familiar and unknown.\n\nMikki Gleave explores landsc
 ape as memory\, trace and residue. Working with spray paint\, ink\, ash an
 d charcoal\, Mikki constructs surfaces through accumulation and erasure\, 
 allowing images to continually emerge\, disappear and reform. The works re
 main in a constant state of becoming\, testing perception while evoking la
 ndscapes that linger like afterimages.\n\nAll artworks are for sale.\n\nEx
