  (24hr – Public Realm)\n\nNo. 6 Church Square\, St Helens\n\nBefore I di
 e is a participatory public art project that invites people to contemplate
  death\, reflect on life\, and share their personal aspirations in public.
  After losing someone she loved\, Chang channelled her grief and depressio
 n into this project covering a crumbling house with chalkboard paint and s
 tencilled with the prompt\, “Before I die I want to _____.”\n\nThe pro
 ject has now been created in over 70 countries\, including Iraq\, China\, 
 Brazil\, Kazakhstan\, and South Africa. Revealing the community’s longin
 gs\, anxieties\, joys\, and struggles\, it explores how public space can c
 ultivate self- examination and empathy among neighbours and compassionatel
 y prepare us for death and grief.\n\nPresented in partnership with SICK! F
