DESCRIPTION:'New Faces\, New Focus: Stories We Share' is a new exhibition c
 oming to Kirkby Gallery from @openeyegallery\n\nExploring themes of journ
 eys\, identity and belonging\, the exhibition brings together a mix of new
  creative work\, photography\, video installation\, museum collections\, a
 nd archival materials to celebrate stories from communities across the Liv
 erpool City Region\, Armagh and Aberdeenshire.\n\nIn collaboration with so
 cially engaged artists\, local people have reflected on migration\, herita
 ge and identity. Using photography\, they have played with their perceptio
 ns of themselves\, friends\, family and how to create new connections thro
 ugh storytelling.\n\nIn New Faces\, New Focus\, Anoosh Ariamehr has engage
 d with people in Knowsley\, who share memories of the area and reflect on 
 how it has changed. Visits to Open Eye Gallery’s archive and Prescot Mus
 eum’s collections have sparked an exploration of life journeys through p
 ersonal archives\; from community work\, caring professions\, creative pur
 suits\, and local industries.\n\nThe exhibition will be open 14th Septembe
 r – 18th December 2026
