DESCRIPTION:a-n Assembly Liverpool\n\nFull Programme &amp\; Tickets HERE\n\
nFor the second of the a-n Assembly events taking place during May and Jun
e this year\, we will be visiting Liverpool for an ‘Artist-Led Assembly
’. Working together with a-n\, Liverpool-based artist Kevin Hunt has dev
ised a programme of events hosted primarily at The Royal Standard\, an art
ist-led gallery\, studio and social workspace in the city.\n\nRecently Liv
erpool has seen a rapid increase in artist-led activity with a diverse arr
ay of new project spaces\, performance platforms and residency programmes
punctuating the institutional heavy gallery ecology in the city. Alongside
this\, celebrating its eleventh year\, The Royal Standard recently reloca
ted to a new site\, also home to several of these newer artist-run project
 s.\n\nThis context provides a backdrop for the Assembly\, a 48-hour event
that will celebrate emerging artist-led activity\, involving some of the m
ost exciting artist initiated projects both in Liverpool and nationwide. T
he programme will include discussion\, tours\, performance and socialising
\, alongside specific professional development advice brought to Liverpool
  by the wider a-n team.\n\nProgramme\n\nFriday 26 May\n\nPeople like us
