See how it evaporates and hardens over the drying time. Cold Wax is malleable\, you can move it around\, working back into the surface. You can build multiple layers\, a llowing each layer to semi dry in between applications working with ‘red uction’ techniques using different tools to scrap into the surface.\n\nW e will use different drawing materials such as oil pastels &\; oil stic ks to create meaningful marks beneath the surface\, these may/may-not be e xposed later\, techniques known as excavation and sgraffito.\n\nTutor: Ama nda Oliphant\n\nAmanda Oliphant graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art at LJMU followed by an MA in Art as Environment at MMU.
