SUMMARY:: Monuism
DESCRIPTION:\nMONUISM is an awe-inspiring light\, laser and sound installat
ion that creates a luminous landscape of monumental\, geometric light stru
 ctures.\nOld Christ Church\n11 Waterloo Road\nWaterloo L22 1RE\n\nBOOK TIC
KETS HERE\nMONUISM is a completely new light-art work for 2026.\n\n\n\n\n
\nMONUISM is an awe-inspiring light\, laser and sound installation that cr
eates a luminous landscape of monumental\, ephemeral geometric structures
in space. These light sculptures are constantly shifting and evolving in s
 hape\, scale\, hue\, and intensity\, creating a sense of dynamic motion as
if the very essence of architecture is being sculpted in real-time.\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nMONUISM is a dance of light and sound with a brand new\, specially
composed electronic soundtrack\, which is also available to stream and do
 wnload.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe work’s name\, MONUISM\, reflects the duality a
t play: the monumental scale evokes the weight and permanence of architect
ure or sculpture\, while the prism-like\, lasers suggests fragility and tr
ansience. The installation’s geometry is an ever-changing environment\,
immersing the viewer in a kaleidoscopic display of shifting forms\; light
both constructing and deconstructing the very idea of monumentality.\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nAt the heart of MONUISM is the interplay between light and struc
ture and the temporality and fragility of light as a medium\, being both s
olid and transparent.\n\nAs previously\, a portion of the profits from the
ticket sales will be donated to Old Christ Church to help keep the venue
open as a valuable and loved community space.\n\n\n
