 s delighted to announce a special edition of Future Station\, with electro
 nic music Darkstar.\nDarkstar will give a talk about their work and share 
 their experience of creating Trackbed. We'll also be joined by Harthill Yo
 uth Centre staff for an open Q&amp\;A.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAbout Darkstar\nSince
  their early dancefloor 12”s on Hyperdub from 2008 and through two vocal
 -led albums in 2010 (‘North’) and 2013 (‘News From Nowhere’)\, Dar
 kstar have been an influential force in the UK’s electronic scene.\nFoll
 owing collaborations with the likes of Actress\, Wild Beasts and Zomby the
 y released their third album Foam Island\, to critical acclaim in 2015 on 
 Warp Records.\nDarkstar have recently collaborated with Empress Of (XL) an
 d Gaika (Warp)\, choreographer Holly Blakey (Florence and The Machine / Yo
 ung Fathers) and scored the Palm d’Or nominated short film Dreamlands.\n
 \nwww.darkstar.ws\n\nAbout Trackbed\nTrackbed is a new composition and sou
 nd installation developed by Darkstar\, in collaboration with Harthill You
 th Centre in Wavertree.\nThe installation and final composition is the out
 come of several residencies Darkstar have run at Harthill Youth Centre and
  Edge Hill\, with the aim of encouraging young people to talk about the is
 sues they face: from migration and Brexit\, to music\, family and communit
 y. A short film by Cieron Magat will also feature alongside the project as
  part of the installation and live performance.\nThe new compoistion will 
 premier live at Edge Hill Station on Wednesday 27 September 2017\, before
