 it is vital that you know how to protect yourself from cyber criminals.\n\

 before\, it is vital that you know how to protect yourself\, your business
  and your internet connected devices from cyber criminals.\n\nCurrent thre
 ats to businesses include phishing\, ransomware and insiders. But what do 
 those things mean and exactly how do criminals target us?\n\nThis session 
 will give you tips on how to create a strong password and how to spot a ph
 ishing e-mail. You will come away with a wealth of free resources. You wil
 l also leave the session feeling more confident in how you can protect bot
 h your personal and business data and systems from cybercrime and able to 
 share tips and advice with family\, friends and colleagues.\n\nTips will i
 nclude: How to create a strong password\, why you need to back up your dev
 ices\, how to use public Wi-Fi safely and how to check if your e-mail has 
 ever been compromised and sold to criminals.\n\nDelivering the workshop is
  Helen Williams. Helen is a Cyber Protect Officer in the cyber team at the
  North West Regional Organised Crime Unit. (A collaboration of 6 local pol
 ice forces). As part of a national policing network\, her role focusses on
  making the North West a safer place online. She links directly to both th
 e National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and Action Fraud to obtain the lat
 est cybercrime reports and national guidance. She talks at conferences and
  business events to raise awareness of current cyber threats and national 
 advice and best practice so that businesses and individuals can best prote
 ct themselves and their information and assets. She also works with victim
 s to understand how they were targeted and to help them become more secure
 .\n\nFAQs\n\nAre there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? 
 Any child under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and we operate a no und
 er 10 policy.\n\nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to
  and from the event? On street parking is free and unlimited. Public trans
 port links are nearby\, and the venue is easily accessible on foot from Li
 verpool City Centre.\n\nHow accessible is the venue? The workshop is locat
 ed on ground floor which provides full accessibility to the premises inclu
 ding toilet provisions. We would advise wheelchair users to contact the wo
 rkshop provider on the sale of the ticket to arrange a parking bay.\n\nWhe

 n\nIs my registration/ticket transferrable? If you find that you cannot at
 tend then you are welcome to pass your place on to a friend who may find i
 t useful. Please let the organiser know if you need to do this. Alternativ
 ely tickets can be transferred to a future event up to a 14 days before th
 e event.\n\nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? A register 
 will be taken at the workshop\, it isn't necessary to print your ticket.\n
 \nIf for any reason you find you are unable to attend then please get in t
 ouch and a refund can be offered up to 14 days before the workshop. After 
 this date we will only offer a refund if we able to fill your space.\n\nTh
 e name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay
