 oodwork class\, part of Make Liverpool’s woodwork programme for beginner
 s.\n\nA great way to hone your woodworking skills\, or to learn a new skil
 l from scratch\, this four hour hands-on class will take you through the d
 ifferent skills and techniques needed to create your own masterpieces.\n\n
 Using recycled and reclaimed wood\, our workshop manager Mark Evans - who 
 has ten years’ joinery experience under his toolbelt\, and a bachelor’
 s degree in fine art to go with it - will walk you through the steps to cr
 afting your very own toolbox.\n\nOne of the standout perks of our recent c
 rowdfunding campaign\, the toolbox will be yours to take home at the end o
 f the class\, during which time you’ll learn how to measure and cut wood
  accurately\, and safely\; as well as sanding\, planing\, drilling and saw
 ing.\n\nYou will use\n\n 	Chop/ Mitre saw -Cut wood at various angles\n 	B
 and saw - Rip through timber\n 	Jigsaw - Free form cuts\n 	Drill driver - 
 Pilot holes &amp\; fixing screws\n 	Pillar drill - bore vertical holes\n 	
 Disc / Belt sander - Accurate\, powerful sanding\n 	Palm sander - Versitil
 e sanding\n\nAnd the great thing about joining onto our introduction to wo
 odwork class is\, once you’ve been inducted into the class and introduce
 d to all of our equipment here at Make Liverpool - you won’t need to do 
 it again. You’ll be a fully inducted member of Make Liverpool’s worksh
 op\, all you’ll need to do is become a member to continue to use all our
  tools after the class. You can purchase a discounted membership on the da
 y of the class\, and you’re good to go.\n\nJoin our class and build your
  confidence in using a range of woodworking tools and techniques\, while b
