North Docks: Botanical Clay Casting DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nThis workshop is suitable for all abilities and will enab le you to create a beautiful keepsake with ease.\n\nThe botanical art tile s are made by pressing plants\, flowers &\; objects into clay. They are then removed &\; plaster is poured over to create the cast. The proces s picks up an incredible amount of detail to create a beautiful raised imp ression.\n\nEventbrite booking link\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn this workshop we will create two works of art - both the clay imprint and the plaster cast\, in a shape and size of your choice. A lovely memory of summer flowers\, or pe rhaps more sentimental flowers - a dried wedding bouquet or a relatives fa vourite flower could be pressed to create a treasured keepsake. The Botani cal Impressions and casts make ideal gifts for garden and nature lovers to o.\n\nThe artist will demonstrate how to roll out your clay\, imprint your foliage and create a frame to pour in the plaster of Paris. This will the n set over lunch.\n\nAfter lunch we will delicately paint the plaster cast using acrylic paints and a drybrushing and rubbing technique shown. Alternatively you can park in our visitor car park. We have 2 parking spaces in the Make North Docks car park that will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please let us know if you require a blue badge ho lder and we can reserve your space. Public transport links are nearby\, an d the venue is easily accessible on foot from Liverpool City Centre (see o ur website for more information\, we're located at Make North Docks).\n\nH ow accessible is the venue?\n\nThe workshop is located on the ground floor which provides full accessibility to the premises including toilet provis ions. Plea se let the organiser know if you need to do this.\n\nAlternatively tickets can be transferred to a future event up to 7 days before the event.\n\nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?\n\nNo\, a register will b e taken at the workshop\, it isn't necessary to print your ticket.\n\nWhat is the refund/cancellation policy?\n\nRefunds will be offered in the even t of the class being cancelled - in this instance we will give as much not ice as possible\, usually at least 5 days\, and offer alternative dates if appropriate.\n\nThis class does have a minimum requirement of ticket sale s to proceed\, so there is a possibility of it being cancelled\, but we wi ll contact you five days before if this is the case.\n\nIf for any reason you find you are unable to attend then please get in touch and a refund ca n be offered up to 7 days before the workshop.\n\nThis is because we pay o ur practitioners fair wages for their work- giving refunds on last minute cancellations would mean that practitioners would not be paid for the prep aration they have put into their classes.\n\n*Refunds will be given minus Eventbrite fees\, unless Make CIC cancel the class\, in which case a full refund will be given*\n\nThe name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee.
