DESCRIPTION:During this session\, you will learn how to make a pair of roun
 d terrazzo-pattern coasters using an eco resin material\, Jesmonite.\n\nIn
  recent years\, Jesmonite has become the go-to material for designers and 
 artists looking for an environmentally conscious alternative to traditiona
 l resin based products. Originally used in the building industry\, Jesmoni
 te is an acrylic-modified gypsum (plaster) composite that offers an eco-fr
 iendly and safe alternative to fibreglass\, and provides a lightweight sub
 stitute to concrete.\n\nThe workshop will last approximately 3.5 hours\, d
 uring which you will create your own personalised terrazzo coasters.\n\nAu
 relie\, our resident terrazzo extraordinaire and founder of Aura Living Ho
 meware will show you how to use this “new” material as well as achievi
 ng any colour chips and/or base you wish to make your coasters with.\n\nTh
 e session will be broken down in 3 parts with a 30 minutes break in betwee
 n each\, which will allow your creations to dry as well as provide us with
  the opportunity for a short natter over a coffee.\n\nAurelie will teach y
 ou all there is to know about eco resin material\, its different applicati
 ons\, and show you some other homeware accessory examples we have been mak
