They are then removed &\; plaster is poured over to create the cast. The process picks up an incredible amount of detail to create a beautiful raised impression.\n\nIn this workshop we will create two works of art - both the clay imprint and the plaster cast\, in a shape and size of your choice. A lovely memory of summer flowers\, or perhaps more senti mental flowers - a dried wedding bouquet or a relatives favourite flower c ould be pressed to create a treasured keepsake. The Botanical Impressions and casts make ideal gifts for garden and nature lovers too.\n\nThe artist will demonstrate how to roll out your clay\, imprint your foliage and cre ate a frame to pour in the plaster of Paris. This will then set over lunch .\n\nAfter lunch we will delicately paint the plaster cast using acrylic p aints and a drybrushing and rubbing technique shown. These include numbers: 41\, 216\, 217\, 409\, 410\, 411\, 413\, 41 4\, 423\, 811 and several others.\n\nBy Car:\n\nFollow the signs for Hamil ton Square. Please let the organiser know if you need to do this.\n\nAl ternatively tickets can be transferred to a future event up to 7 days befo re the event.\n\nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?\n\nNo\ , a register will be taken at the workshop\, it isn't necessary to print y our ticket.\n\nWhat is the refund/cancellation policy?\n\nRefunds will be offered in the event of the class being cancelled - in this instance we wi ll give as much notice as possible\, usually at least 5 days\, and offer a lternative dates if appropriate.\n\nThis class does have a minimum require ment of ticket sales to proceed\, so there is a possibility of it being ca ncelled\, but we will contact you five days before if this is the case.\n\ nIf for any reason you find you are unable to attend then please get in to uch and a refund can be offered up to 7 days before the workshop.\n\nThis is because we pay our practitioners fair wages for their work- giving refu nds on last minute cancellations would mean that practitioners would not b e paid for the preparation they have put into their classes.\n\n*Refunds w ill be given minus Eventbrite fees\, unless Make CIC cancel the class\, in which case a full refund will be given*\n\nThe name on the registration/t icket doesn't match the attendee.
