DESCRIPTION:Needle Felting: Birds\n\n£30\n\nbook here\n\nIn this introduct
 ion to needle felting\, you’ll be shown the basics of how to create felt
 ed structures and mould wool fibres\, all while creating your very own nee
 dle-felted bird. You’ll be shown step by step how to make the body\, win
 gs\, tail and head using a felting needle and wool. Then\, once that’s b
 een made\, we’ll make wire legs\, and add the some colour.\n\nAt the end
  of the three to four hour session you'll be able to take your new felted 
 friend home with you!\n\nKatie Jackson\, the leader of this workshop\, is 
 a Yorkshire born fibre artist and printmaker and recent graduate from LJMU
 ’s graphic design and illustration programme. She loves using traditiona
 l media to create characterful animal illustrations. The memories of growi
 ng up on her uncle’s farm greatly inspires her work to this day. It is t
 he driving force behind all her work and the root of her passion for anima
