Starting Up as a Freelance Ar tist" at Make Baltic!\nCath Garvey is a Freelance Illustrator who has lear ned from scratch how to promote herself\, get work\, and what to do when t here is no work. At the start Cath had little knowledge about how to start her art business\, so now she has decided to start a class called "HELP! Starting Up as a Freelance Artist". Which is for any artist who needs help getting their work out there.\nDuring this workshop Cath will teach you s everal steps to follow when starting off as a freelancer. After the presen tation\, there will be interactive activities where you'll be able to eval uate your online presence with other artists and ask questions\, so bring an example of your work! There is free nearby parking on Grafton Street and Stanhope Street. Public transport links are nearby\, and the venue is easily accessible on foot f rom Liverpool City Centre.\nHow accessible is the venue? The workshop is located on the 2nd floor of Elevator Studios which provides full accessibi lity to the premises including a disability lift. Alternative ly tickets can be transferred to a future event up to a 14 days before the event.\nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? A register wi ll be taken at the workshop\, it isn't necessary to print your ticket.\nWh at is the refund/cancellation policy? Refunds will be offered in the even t of the class being cancelled - in this instance we will give as much not ice as possible\, usually at least 5 days\, and offer alternative dates if appropriate. This class does have a minimum requirement of ticket sales t o proceed\, so there is a possibility of it being canceled\, but we will c ontact you five days before if this is the case.\nIf for any reason you fi nd you are unable to attend then please get in touch and a refund can be o ffered up to 14 days before the workshop.
