e city's thriving Baltic Triangle\, with a huge range of art styles set to
be showcased on Friday 1st - Sunday 3rd April 2016.\n\nThe main Visual Ar

ill continue across established venues and emerging spaces in the Baltic.
In a first for Threshold\, organisers have also invited guest curators to
contribute to the arts programme. These include artist-led organisation TP
A [Trans Pennine Arts] who will be collaborating with Liverpool-based Mues

Wendy Williams [Alternator Studio]\, Douglas McCormick [University of Che

Meg Brain. The exhibitions will feature explorations of Alchemy\, alchemic
al symbolism and the mysterious arts of transmutation.\n\nArtists will als

interpretations. The exhibition will feature a wide range of art forms inc

place and performances will be weaved into the gallery spaces in a true b
lend of contemporary art forms.\n\nVisual Arts Curator\, Jazamin Sinclair
said "We have over 25 people working together in our visual arts team to c
urate\, plan\, install &amp\; pull together our full exhibition programme
this year. All the ideas and planning means that things are now really sta

with the artists to install the exhibitions across the 9 venues!"\n\n[capt
