SUMMARY:Cornerstone: Liverpool Hope University: Independents Biennial Utopi
 an Future Lab
DESCRIPTION:THE INDEPENDENT BIENNIAL UTOPIAN FUTURE LAB\n26th of March @ 15
 .00 - Angelfield Festival 2025 - Liverpool Hope University\n\nFor the 2025
edition of the Angelfield Festival\, MA students from two universities ac
ross Liverpool\, Liverpool Hope University and The University of Liverpool
\, join forces to deliver the Independent Biennial Utopian Future Lab. The
y invite you to a creative symposium to explore play\, joy and silliness t
o reclaim creativity as a way forward for a just society.\n\nThis interact
ive event blends nostalgia\, playfulness and worldmaking to stimulate disc
ourse around social justice in contemporary times. Britain is a nation in
turmoil. While some prosper\, many are left struggling against barriers th
at define their daily existence. Borders\, migration\, food poverty\, and
social housing are not just political issues\, they are human crises\, aff
ecting millions and worsening the fractures in our society. This interacti
ve exhibition invites you to engage with these themes in a creative\, thou
ght-provoking way.\n\nThe event will start with an immersive exhibition\,
followed by a panel discussion/ presentation about community-led housing a
ssociations and a table talk discussion with guest speakers and the audien
ce\, discussing new ways to unlock a utopian future. The creative activiti
es you will take part in are not just about individual movement\, but abou
 t togetherness. In a society facing division\, crisis\, and change\, these
activities show how movements\, cooperation\, and shared experiences shap
e the bigger picture.\n\nThe final artwork is a testament to resilience\,
unity\, and creativity in the face of adversity.\n\nThis event challenges
the narrative and dismantles myths. The power to rewrite this story lies w
ith us. As you take part in this experience\, consider: how do borders\, m
igration\, food poverty\, and housing affect us all? How can we move toget
her towards a fairer future?\n\nThe event is free\, but booking is essenti
