SUMMARY:Bluecoat: Liverpool East and South East Asian Network: North-West M
 appings
DESCRIPTION:A workshop for collective exploration of ESEA lineages and heri
tage through the assisted system of Tarot\, storytelling and collective wr
iting. In the symbolic magical construct\, and corresponding to the suit o
 f Pentacles and Cups\, the North symbolises earth - the land\, terrain\, t
erritory\, the rock of ancestors\, cycles of life\, composting and emergen
 ce\; the West connotes emotions\, intuition\, affect\, memory\, movement a
nd flow\, scrying through time and reflection.\n\nDesigned and led by cura
tor and researcher\, Annie Jael Kwan\, this bespoke workshop is inspired
by the historical multi-movements and tides of Liverpool and the Mersey Es
tuary. The workshop offers the opportunity to explore how these aspects mi
ght allow intergenerational stories to be shared as a collective memory\,
and draw connections between different specificities of space and time. Th
is event is a partnership with LESEAN and The Bluecoat.\n\n£5 (booking re
 quired)
