SUMMARY:Liverpool: Liverpool Arts Bar: Consuming me by Severus Heyn
DESCRIPTION:Severus Heyn opens his first solo exhibition showcasing his bol
d and thought provoking graphic illustrations. The artist subverts typical
expectations of erotica by marrying it with a pop art style and suggestin
g an underlying narrative that makes the viewer want to know more. This co
llection of work looks at how we consume and are consumed\, whist often be
ing expected to conform\, in order to make ourselves more palatable to soc
 iety.
