The workshop will introduce different approaches to architect ural photography\, using a range of techniques. Assistance with your camer as/devices/phones will be provided. The workshop is open to all levels\, a ge and backgrounds. Equipment not supplied (please bring a camera or phone ).\nThe workshop will be led by Katherine Monaghan . Katherine Monaghan is a Liverpool based photographer\nI am a photographic artist\, facilitat or and teacher. I have focused my work around community groups\; trying to help raise awareness of the importance of community\, giving a platform t o unheard voices and sharing the multitude of human stories. I believe hav ing an awareness of different paths of life is essential for a strong soci ety in order for different groups to build ties and understand one another .\nThe route includes the brutalist architecture of the strand and old lis ted buildings\, passing along the canal\, the industrial warehouse buildin gs at the docks and ferry port\, and some traditional and modern architect ure in residential areas. The early evening walk (the golden hour.) will p rovide best light and shadows for photography.\nPlease meet 15 minutes bef ore the workshop is due to start.\nPlease note the workshop route is not f ixed\, and is subject to change depending on weather and participant numbe rs. The end location may be different to the start location.
