DESCRIPTION:Live Soundtracks to Silent Films brings together experimental e
 lectronica musicians and moving-image works from across the early history 
 of cinema\, creating new connections between sound and screen through one-
 off live performances.\n\n19:00: Doors\n\n19:30: Jez Thelwell performing t
 o Frankenstein (1910) and Nude Woman by Waterfall (1920)\n\n20:15: La 
 French performing to L’Étoile de mer (1928) and Disturbances (1974)
 \n\n21:00: The Metamorph performing to Entr’acte (1924)\n\n21:30: Q&am
 p\;A with the artists\n\nPlease note that doors open 30 minutes before the
  first screening and the programme will begin promptly at the listed time.
 \n\nMoving between strange narratives\, fragmented images and moments of v
 isual abstraction\, the screening invites audiences to encounter these fil
 ms afresh through contemporary electronic sound.\n\nJez Thelwell performs 
 newly composed soundtracks for Frankenstein and Nude Woman by Waterfall
 \, while La French responds live to L’Étoile de mer and Disturbance
 s. The Metamorph completes the programme with an original score accompanyi

 s.\n\n\n\nMoolakii Club Audio Interface is a Wirral-based DIY platform for
  peripheral underground experimental electronic music\, founded by Jez The
 lwell. Working across live events\, physical releases\, zines\, interviews
  and workshops\, it creates space for artists operating around ambient\, d
 rone\, sound art\, modular electronics and other less easily defined forms
 .\n\nIts projects include the Live Soundtracks to Silent Films series\, wh
 ich pairs contemporary electronic musicians with early\, silent and experi
 mental cinema. Moolakii Club also publishes the MCPM zine and releases sma
 ll-batch music by artists working across the UK underground.\n\n\n\n\n\nAc
