 sformation in the spirit of carnival and masquerade\, and then join in wit

 30 — 19:00 \n\nStarting at Steble Fountain\, Batala Mersey play a tradi
 tional Bahian repertoire from north east Brazil.\n\nSpiritual Mask Worksho
 p\n\n19:00 — 20:00 \n\n‘Make and take’ workshop from Brouhaha on th
 e ground floor. Create your own mask inspired by Brazilian Orixas and the 
 spiritual origins of the culture.\n\nBatala Mersey on the Picton Steps\n\n
 20:15 — 20:45\n\nA static small band drumming performance expressing the
  conceptual origins of the Brazilian spirit.\n\nAnimal Forms Mask Workshop
 \n\n21:00 — 22:00\n\n‘Make and take’ workshop from Brouhaha on the g
 round floor.\n\nBatala Decoding (illuminated set)\n\n22:30 — 23:00\n\nAn
  illuminated band performance on the library piazza featuring animal masks
  (made in the earlier workshops) and digitally animated horses\, created t
