SUMMARY:Liverpool Cathedral: LightNight 2018: Liverpool Cathedral: The Imag
 o
DESCRIPTION:THE IMAGO\n20:30 - 23:00\n\nLiverpool Cathedral\n\nCommissions\
, Performance\n\nIn Atoms presents a new installation and performance work
that imagines a world where the human fixation with classification breaks
down and a more authentic understanding of relationships emerges.\n\nPres
ented as a two-screen dialogue with an original musical score\, the piece
utilises tape and Super 8 collage and manipulation. Through slow and bliss
ful loops of sound\, dialogue\, and film footage\, The Imago tells the lif
e cycle of a moth as a personal history between two people. The dialogue b
reaks down\; the lines blur. Only the moths remain.\n\nLightNight's full l
