 y Liverpool based jeweller DeeLyn Walsh\n\nDeeLyn is a jewellery designer 
 and maker based in Liverpool. Originally from America\, she resettled and 
 trained in the UK\, earning a Bachelors of Design First Class with Honours
  in 2010\, specializing in metalwork and ceramics at Liverpool Hope Univer
 sity. She has been working as a self employed studio jeweller ever since\,
  while continuing to broaden her jewellery skills with courses from Birmin
 gham School of\n\nJewellery and other personalised classes offered by spec
 ialists. DeeLyn’s workshop is based in Flux Studios\, a thriving arts hu
 b in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle\, which she founded and manages. Her j
 ewellery collections are exhibited at galleries and boutiques in the UK &a
 mp\; US.\n\nDeeLyn works predominately in sterling silver using traditiona
 l silversmith techniques. All pieces are hand formed using folding and col
 d forging. She also enjoys playing with alternative materials and processe
 s when possible\, currently adding rough pyrite specimens and manipulation
  of the surface with acid etching and keum boo. In previous collections sh
 e has worked with recycled guitar strings and cast resin.\nJoin DeeLyn\, 
 with our European Connections jewellery exhibition curator Kate Moult\,
  to talk about wearing contemporary jewellery and have the unique opportu
 nity to try some of her amazing pieces featuring in our spotlight cabinet 
 display.\n\nNo need to book\, just arrive between 5.30 - 6.30pm.
