SUMMARY:Kirkby Gallery: Kirkby Gallery: Kate Tidmarsh @ The Entrance Galler
 y
DESCRIPTION:Kate Tidmarsh @ The Entrance Gallery\nTo complement our main ex
hibition we will also be displaying work by artist and printmaker Kate Tid
marsh in The Entrance Gallery\, in the lobby and landing of The Kirkby Cen
tre.\nKate's individual viewpoint is heavily influenced by her love of out
door exploration. This is firmly rooted in her childhood in the United Sta
tes\, with access to expansive unpopulated open areas.\nTrained originally
as a textile designer then later as a teacher\, she brings to all her wor
k her lifelong interests in the interplay of colour and pattern\, which sh
e explores creatively whenever she has the chance.
