Spaces 2, the 2nd Knowsley Wellbeing Photography Competition is taking place again and invites you to showcase your creative talent and contribute to a new photographic body of work. It is open to people of all ages and ability who live, work, volunteer or study in the borough of Knowsley, to photograph and submit your interpretation of the theme of People and Places.
We would like you to capture through photography, people and places from across Knowsley so as to celebrate health and wellbeing across the borough. By that we mean anything from photographs of places you go to relax, have fun in or that are important to you. Similarly, photographing a local person or hero to you or even a selfie, is welcome too.
As part of this exciting project, the Culture Developments & Events Service are working in partnership with Knowsley Family and Community Education (FACE) to deliver a number of free workshops for adults (over 16’s) in Kirkby Gallery.
Whilst these workshops are free, we do require you to bring your own camera and to book your place.
To do this, contact Tina Ball on 0151 443 5617Â or via email: knowsleygallerybookings@gmail.com
These workshops are of a basic level and will enable participants to learn the functions of the camera, using daylight, macro and basically, everything you need to know to get the most from your camera.
Workshop dates and times:
Wednesday 13 July, 1-4pm
Thursday 14 July, 1-4pm
Wednesday 20 July, 1-4pm
Thursday 21 July, 1-4pm
