These tutor-led workshops are suitable for all abilities, from absolute beginners to those with advanced skills.
Due to popular demand, Kirkby Gallery in partnership with Knowsley FACE, are extending the number of art-based workshops on offer.
Our friendly tutor Yvonne will demonstrate a new task each week and be on hand to answer questions and provide support and guidance.
Watercolour Painting: This course (minimum of 8 workshops) provides a structured introduction to watercolour painting, and the ways in which this medium can be used to best effect.
Drawing Classes: This course (minimum of 8 workshops) provides a structured introduction to drawing using a wide range of media and methods and encourages you to look at things in a selective way, giving you the skills to record your observations.
All you need to bring is your own basic art materials – watercolours, brushes, paper, pencils etc. as appropriate. There is a nominal venue administration fee of £4 per workshop.
We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of each workshop to get set up.
